Friends of Aspires
The dedicated Friends of Aspires West Pasadena is a group of people who sincerely believe in the purpose and vision which it espouses. They support the organization financially because of their love for education,children, and their families. From fundraising to event planning the Friends of Aspires sustain and assist the organization.
Wide range of after-school programs for high school-age youth to boost academic achievement, foster job and life skills and promote artistic expression and exploration. Activities include: tutoring, SAT and CAHSEE prep, computer training, digital photography and graphic design, personal health and self-esteem, cooking, yoga, art, performance, and leadership and job training.
Pasadena City College provides the San Gabriel Valley with a high quality, innovative and dynamic learning environment that inspires student success. Each semester offers academic programs that encompass degrees, transfer programs, and certificates, to 30,250+ students.
PUSD offers high-quality educational choices for all students. The schools of the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) enroll more than 17,000 students in Transitional Kindergarten-12th grade in a 76-square mile area that includes Altadena, Pasadena, Sierra Madre and unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County.
